WHAT: I will be hosting a week long on-camera acting workshop meeting IN-PERSON on the first and final day of the workshop only.

WHEN: March 4th & 11th from 8am - 2pm. 

WHERE: The Artists Playground at 14665 Midway Rd. Suite 140; Addison, TX 75001

WHO: For actors ages 16 and up. Any skill level welcome. 12-15 actors MAX.

Day 1 (March 4th): I will be teaching actors how to rig their own at-home audition studios. We will cover basic lighting, sound, and blocking for camera. We will also cover the basics of auditioning on-camera. I will do this by coaching you through a scene that will be given to you 48 hours prior to our first class on-camera as a mock audition. We will also cover things like script analysis and character development throughout the week.

At the end of day 1, I will be handing out another scene for you to prepare on-camera for our final meeting on the 11th. You may also bring a scene of your choosing, but it must be approved by me first. You will learn how to rehearse together and be sent home with a week to prepare and put yourself on tape. You may also have someone from class help you…in fact, I greatly encourage that…and may just require it. :)

On the final day (March 11th): We will review your auditions and make any tweaks we need to make it a video that you would be proud to showcase. I will also be bringing pizza. :)

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: We will have a 1 hour lunch break on both days from 11am-Noon. So please bring your own drinks, snacks, and lunch, unless of course you would like to go out to lunch. Your choice, you just need to be back on time. You also need to bring a printed copy of the scene you will be performing each day and be dressed as the character you are playing.

CANCELLATION POLICY: A deposit of $125 will be kept upon purchase to hold your spot in this class as spots are limited. If you need to cancel, please do so before NOON on February 22nd to receive the other half of your payment. You may call me at the number below to cancel.

If you become ill or cannot attend in person with valid reason after February 22nd, please let me know as soon as possible by phone or text to the number below and I can credit your account with the remaining $125, which can be used for future workshops or one-on-one coaching.
